INTRANAV joins the UN Global Compact to unite business for a better world.

We are committed to conducting our business according to the 10 principles of the Global Compact

Human Rights

Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and

Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

Labour

Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;

Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;

Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and

Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

Environment

Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;

Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and

Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Anti-Corruption

Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

Human Rights

  • The management of INTRANAV has the overall responsibility for the observance of human rights. This refers in particular to the coordination of processes and activities of human rights diligence. In order to integrate the issue of human rights even more into our operational processes, we examine human rights risks and their effects. Based on this, we carry out risk-based measures and focus on the procurement of products, external labor and services as well as the cooperation with contractual partners. In the case of projects, an assessment of environmental, health and safety aspects, among other things, is included in the decision. The INTRANAV – Code of Conduct (“Company Guidelines”) is also binding for us for investment projects. This code of conduct includes, among other things, compliance with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (see above) and thus also with the core labor standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO), such as the prohibition of child and forced labor.

Labour

  • INTRANAV supports the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We strive to implement these principles in our policies, procedures and daily practice. Maintaining high ethical standards and common values is at the heart of our business activities. Compliance with legal regulations is fundamental to this. This forms the basis for the trust that customers, employees, shareholders and other stakeholders place in INTRANAV In addition, the stability of the value of the brand “INTRANAV” is secured. A central area of the company policy is the code of ethics and values of IntraNav GmbH (called “Company Guidelines”), which comprises the most important principles to which the employees and business partners of INTRANAV are committed. The Company Guidelines thus provide guidelines for a wide range of aspects where standards of integrity and appropriate action are indicated. Employees, directors and also business partners must be familiar with this Code and act accordingly. Every employee or partner is obliged to check his or her actions and business conduct to ensure that they are in accordance with the Company Guidelines.

Environment

  • As a company, our business activities naturally have an impact on the environment: for example, air emissions, wastewater and waste are generated. In addition, we use materials that can have a negative impact on the environment if they are not handled properly. A holistic approach is needed to eliminate negative environmental impacts and protect the environment. For this purpose INTRANAV has an environmental officer whose tasks are to advise on investments, acquisitions and process developments and to monitor compliance with environmental protection measures. The goal of INTRANAV is to avoid harmful emissions as far as possible. We meet strict requirements and continuously adapt to new regulatory demands. As natural resources are becoming increasingly scarce, the efficient use of energy, water and materials is of great importance to us. Other contributions to minimizing waste and CO² emissions include the ongoing transition to paperless offices and the reduction of travel using Modern Workplace tools. In addition, INTRANAV encourages its employees to travel by public transport as far as possible.

Anti-Corruption

  • Corruption occurs in the most diverse variations with the most diverse facets. Therefore, it is not possible to develop individual measures that are suitable for preventing corruption in all its manifestations; instead, a bundle of measures is always necessary. The decisive starting point for the prevention of corruption lies with the management. Here there must be a clear and consistent stance on the issue of corruption. The formulation of rules of ethics or a code of honour (in the case of INTRANAV the “Company Guidelines”) are among other things a measure to initiate a sensitization process. The goal is to give up any undue freedom and to encourage self-control and self-criticism of all persons involved in the process. Any violations are to be reported, whereby it is guaranteed that violations reported in good faith will not result in reprisals or other negative consequences, because we are convinced that profitable business should be accompanied by the highest ethical standards.
