You are curious about new technologies and solutions that are really needed in the future as well as today? You have already gained several years of experience as a software developer in agile product & project development and can now independently develop your own solution approaches?
IntraNav wants to become the market leading RTLS (Real-Time Locating Service) platform provider for the digital enterprise. Our product is used in Smart-Factory, Smart-Logistic and Smart-HealthCare. Our R&D team is developing new integrations of IoT partner products, interfaces, services, analytic dashboards and app extensions that map new use cases and user stories. Likewise, the core of our RTLS platform “INTRANAV.IO” is continuously developed and optimized.
Your role an challenges
- You independently design and develop drivers and function routines for our INTRANAV RTLS ultra-wideband products.
- You test new prototypes with your colleagues from the hardware development and create corresponding test reports.
- You work closely as a software developer with the product designers and are not afraid to actively involve customers and partners in the design phase.
- You review product requirements and roadmap items for feasibility and risks. You integrate them into our architecture and contribute to the operational stability of the products according to industrial standards.
- You will be a motivated part of our agile development team and actively contribute to the design of new projects.
- You support us in all project phases (design, implementation, testing, integration and operation).
Your profile
- You have a degree or training in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable subject.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an embedded software developer in the field of hardware-related development (embedded engineering).
- You have already developed devices for the industry. You can build, use and improve test environments.
- You have already successfully developed software on an ARM Cortex architecture and developed with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS. Interrupts, HAL, Mutex are no foreign words.
- You have an eye for risks and always develop your applications for a flawless and smooth operation.
- You maintain appropriate documentation and release notes.
- Ideally, you already have experience in IoT and wireless and are familiar with MQTT, TCP, UDP or COAP.
- You have analytical and predictive skills to create a scalable application and analyze and optimize customer processes and requirements.
- You are passionate about new technologies and want to constantly evolve.
- You have an affinity for IoT products.
- A high level of quality awareness and practical experience in the use of quality assurance measures (e.g. unit and integration tests, static code analysis, code reviews) are a matter of course for you.
- Very good German or English skills round off your profile.
Nice to have
- You have already configured devices using JSON and know about OTA processes.
- You know what MQTT is and how it works.
- You are familiar with code & version management (Git) and project management tools (Asana, Jira, Sharepoint etc.).
