SMART Forklift & INTRANAV.APP Transport Driver:
Automatic identification of pallets, real-time location and
transaction posting into SAP® EWM

Learn in this live demo video how the “SMART Forklift” automatically identifies pallets via the forklift fork by RFID sensors (Auto-ID) and transmits the status information to the INTRANAV.APP Transport Driver. The INTRANAV.APP Transport Driver is a location-based transport control system. The forklift is equipped with the latest INTRANAV.RTLS VehicleTAG+. This TAG integrates RFID and UWB sensors, and also offers LiDAR & UWB data fusion for high-precision location in the warehouse.

During transport, the movement of the forklift with the pallet is tracked in real-time. The information is consistently transmitted to the INTRANAV.IO platform. In the RTLS platform, the forklift fleet, goods and other objects can be monitored as a digital twin.

RFID labels are placed at each individual storage location in the high-rack warehouse. As soon as the forklift truck places or removes the pallet from the high storage rack, the pallet is booked as stored or retrieved via RFID sensors in the INTRANAV.APP and also in SAP® EWM.
