INTRANAV joins the Industrial Digital Twin Associaton (IDTA)
„Industrial process automation based on real-time location & sensor data offers new opportunities to make processes safer and more efficient. This growing trend of location-based process automation (LPA) is based on the digital mapping of machines, goods and information sources in logistics and production. In order to virtualize and optimize processes end-2-end, cross-manufacturer data exchange is required. The prerequisite is a standardized data model and understanding of the digital twin, which is gained through the Asset Administration Shell.“ says Andreas Radix, CEO, INTRANAV.
Key figures from current industrial practice at IDTA:
● 43 partial models reduce the effort in data integration
● 80% benefit in data management through digital value creation
● 5 working groups creating standards of the future
“As a member of IDTA, INTRANAV is part of a powerful community, which we hope will bring strong benefits to us and our customers, such as extending our technology lead. We are excited to be part of this global technology community and to help develop industry standards, creating further new access and use for the industrial value proposition for our customers and partners.“ Ersan Günes, Co-Founder and CTO, INTRANAV.
