INTRANAV presents latest RTLS technology at TBInt. Town Hall Event

Goods & transport flow optimization with RFID and real-time positioning

Six innovation pioneers and project partners were invited to the Town Hall Event by the multiple award-winning growth champion in eCommerce, TB International GmbH, to present the latest technologies and the current project status at TBInt. to C-level partners.

In the area of warehouse and logistics optimization, INTRANAV presented the Virtual Warehouse Solution. TBInt.´s forklift fleet uses the INTRANAV.RTLS VehicleTAG+ (UWB and RFID technology) to control warehouse and transport handling via the INTRANAV.IO platform. The hybrid RTLS TAG enables the „SMART Forklifts“ to record the goods in the SAP system by picking up the pallets with the fork and, at the same time, to map the position of the pallet and the forklift on the shopfloor as a digital twin.

In addition to automatic storage and retrieval processes, as well as goods receipt and goods outbound posting, the INTRANAV Fleet Manager automates further work steps. Location-based zones trigger transport orders and INTRANAV.APPs ensure optimal transport order distribution of the fleet through the transport order pool, taking forklift availability and optimized vehicle routing into account.
