INTRANAV expands the industrial portfolio with the new omlox indoor-location standard by joining the PROFIBUS | PROFINET Organization

With omlox we are expanding our INTRANAV.IO interface portfolio by joining the PROFIBUS | PROFINET Organization. Omlox specifies open interfaces for an interoperable tracking system, allowing different tracking vendors within one or more tracking zones to use a single infrastructure with different applications from different vendors. INTRANAV includes also other industry standards and services such as Cloud/EDGE, ERP/EWM, SW Services and further industrial interface layers.

The PROFIBUS | PROFINET community consists of the leading automation suppliers, end-users and organizations with more than 1700 members worldwide. PROFIBUS is the fieldbus-based automation standard of PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI). It connects control or supervisory systems with decentralized field devices (sensors and actuators) at the field level via a single bus cable and also enables continuous data exchange with higher-level communication systems.
